FAQ

Do Corda Mór dancers compete, perform, or dance for fun?

We offer all of these options for dancers at Corda Mór. We train dancers for competitions ranging from local events to the world championships. We offer an abundance of performance opportunities and hold social events within our community several times a year. Our dancers start dancing because it's fun -- from there, they determine their level of involvement. No matter what that involvement entails, students are supported on their journey as dancers, performers or competitors.

How much training does it take before beginning dancers are ready for their first performance or competition?

Beginning dancers typically attend class for one hour per week in their first year, and are ready for their first competition or performance 12 to 18 months after their first class.

How can I register my dancer for classes at Corda Mór?

We accept dancers of all experience levels, ages 4 through 20. For class and registration information, please contact Andrea Munson at andrea@cordamor.com, view our class schedule, or fill out our registration form.
