Fauna Gille, T.C.R.G., Owner & Director
Fauna is a former championship level dancer and accomplished performer.
After qualifying to compete in the World Championships in 2002, Fauna
retired from competitive dancing to focus on her teaching
career. Since passing her T.C.R.G. examinations in early 2004
Fauna has sent many dancers to the Midwest Regional, North
American, All-Irelands, and World Irish dance championships. Fauna
loves working with children and enjoys the challenge of motivating them
to be the best they can be!
Cassia Gille, T.C.R.G., Primary Instructor
Cassia is a championship dancer and accomplished performer. She trained,
performed, and taught classes at corda mor with her older sister Fauna
until 2009, at which point Cassia jumped at the opportunity to move to
Dublin and train at one of Ireland’s premier dance schools. While in
Dublin, Cassia studied under master teachers and choreographers for 6
months, while at the same time traveling to compete and achieve top
placements at the All-Ireland, North American Nationals, and World
Championships. Having fulfilled her competitive goals Cassia retired
from competition and began performing professionally, touring Ireland,
Spain, Russia, France, Switzerland and the Netherlands with ‘Rhythm of
the Dance’. While on tour Cassia's discipline helped her study for her T.C.R.G.
examination, which she successfully passed with honors in December of
2009. In 2010 Cassia continued performing professionally, putting in a
six month stint with ‘Celtic Fyre’ before returning to Minnesota and
corda mor, where she is very happy, as teaching is her true passion!
Cassia is also a certified personal trainer and loves sharing her
knowledge of fitness, and training with her students. Her drive,
enthusiasm, and strong work ethic are all traits that she hopes to pass
on to each and every student she works with!
Kailey began Irish step dancing 14 years ago at the age of five. She
has travelled and competed throughout the US receiving distinguished
placements at competitions such as the North American National
Championships and the Midwest Oireachtas. She is an extremely energetic
and diligent teacher and believes first and foremost it is important
that the kids are having fun dancing.
Mary Trojack, Primary Instructor
Mary Trojack danced at the championship level, competing at All
Irelands, Great Brits, Nationals, Oireachtas and Worlds. "My last
competition was Worlds. After I danced my recall round there, I was more
than ready to retire and take a break! I have great memories from both
both competing and performing, and I was so excited when Fauna invited
me to help teach a class at her school. I have been very impressed with
the corda mór dancers. They are not only talented and hardworking but
they have such positive attitudes. It has been so much fun to work with
them!"
